Powers that Count as Characteristics
- The characteristics that count against these totals are: Dex, Con, Int, Ego, Pre, Speed, Recover, Endurance, Body, and Stun. On the other hand, Strength is counted in Offensive. OCV, DCV, OMCV, ODCV are counted against Combat Effectiveness.
- Absorption and Aid, if they help characteristics, count as characteristics, but they don’t count against the specific characteristic. In other words, with a 50 point limit on Dex, the character could still get 50 points of Aid for Dexterity. If an aid helps OCV and Dex, it counts against both.
- Characteristics bought as powers count against the total for the power. If you have a limit of 50 points, a Dex of 30 and +20 Dex bought as a power, you have reached your limit. If you have multiple powers that add to the original, it is up to you to make sure they don’t stack except in rare circumstances.
- Healing is generally bought as a Non-Combat Power and does not count against the Characteristics total.
