  • Ground Defense: You defend Core City (or some other place). You keep it safe from all enemies. You may do this in an authorized capacity, though, more and more often, talented people are realizing that they need to stand up for themselves. The archons can’t do everything.
  • Strike Team: You and your team are devoted to the will of the Archons (or maybe the Ludd). You perform military operations wherever you are sent.
  • Patrol: You are part of a group that patrols interplanetary space. You may do this for good or for ill.
  • Bad Team: You and your team are trying to take advantage of the chaos. Your goals are criminal. Your hope is to replace the utopia of Prometheus with a syndicate.
  • Power Brokers: Your group shares the same desire to be more enhanced. Through restricted tech and experimental biological treatments, you hope to become the greatest warriors this galaxy has ever seen.
  • Average Joes: There’s nothing special about you. You are reluctant heroes called from the quotidian corners of the system. You may have all worked the same job, though not necessarily.
  • Escapees: Whether you were guests of the Galactic Federation, the Ludd, the Archons, or just some random guinea pig in an alien experiment, you and your group escaped together.
  • Band of misfits: No two people in your group share the same background. How you got thrown together in this mess is anybody’s guess.
  • Explorers: There are plenty of reasons to need scouts and explorers both before and after the Frankenstein Crisis. Your team is set up to compliment each other’s skills in this venture.
  • Expatriates: You are members of a race not native to the place where you live. For this reason, you have become insular and look after one another.
  • Vigilantes: You and your group believe that the powers that be are falling down on the job. You’ve taken it upon yourself to make sure that justice is done.
  • Rescue Team: You and your team go into places where bad things have happened and provide emergency response.
